David grew up in Greensboro and chose to return to his hometown to raise his family. He joined New Page Capital in 2021 as Operating Partner. Prior to joining New Page Capital, David was City Manager for the City of Greensboro, overseeing an organization of over $600 million and over 3,000 employees. He has successfully managed small to mid-sized organizations for the past 15 years in both Virginia and North Carolina, focusing on internal operating efficiencies, construction projects, facility maintenance, economic development, personnel management and finances. Earlier in his career, David worked in numerous industrial and commercial settings as a key employment specialist training employees of all ability levels with the Arc of

Greensboro. David obtained his undergraduate degree from UNC-Greensboro and his graduate degree, MPA, from UNC-Chapel Hill.

David has actively supported the community through coaching youth sports, serving as a mentor with Campus Greensboro, and volunteering at his local church. In addition, he has served on the boards of the Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Greensboro, Guilford County Partnership for Children, and strategic planning committee for the United Way.

David and his wife, Heather, have 3 children.
